Item Margin Report

The Item Margin Report is a margin report which allows you to see the profitability of items sold. It provides a summary report of gross profit and gross margin information by item, and provides subtotals for each item product group. The report is summarized by customers above the line“Above the line” refers to a customer class assigned to the customer used to segregate customers that are part of a company’s regular business. Above the line customers are generally profitable and represent sales at the normal markup. and below the line"Below the line” is a customer class assigned to the customer used to segregate customers that are not part of normal business. This customer class is also referred to as low margin customers or those sold at a less than normal markup. based on the customer class assigned to the customer.
